This Week’s Meal

This week we celebrate Julia Child – famed chef, spy, and bedroom enthusiast.

On Sunday, September 23rd at 6 p.m., Chefs Matt and Lindsay of Well Fed Group, a restaurant consulting team with over 25 years of hotel and dining experience, celebrate the legacy of Julia Child at their Columbia Heights home. The chefs will recreate some of Julia Child’s famed dishes, including Alsatian onion tart and duxelle in puff pastry, French onion soup, coq au vin with late-summer vegetables and braising jus, French savarin cake, and poached pears with creme Anglaise, for $71.50.

Meet Matt and Lindsay – “Well Fed Group is a young restaurant consulting team with over 25 years of hotel and dining experience. Chef Matt Baker describes his food as Modern American and is currently the Chef de Cuisine at The Occidental. Lindsay Jordan, a Le Cordon Bleu French Culinary School graduate, enjoys hosting and playing second fiddle in the kitchen to her extremely talented partner!”
