This Week’s Meal

We are excited to announce our partnership with Relay Foods! Relay is the online grocery store where you’ll find stuff from the best local stores, restaurants, and farms from right in your own neighborhood. Best of all, they deliver  all your grocery shopping needs—from basics, to specialty foods, to local produce straight to your door! Expect to see great meals with Relay ingredients and discounts on food for all of our loving Feasters.

Now, to consummate this relationship, we’re inviting you a special meal this Friday. On October 5th, Chef Jessica and the creative team at SPACIOUS welcome you to a dinner salon, sponsored by Relay Foods, focused on prejudice, preconceived notions, and foods you may have loved to hate (but deserve another chance).

That’s right haters, prepare to be amazed as Chef Jessica whips up some buttered anchovy (ewww!?) toast, cilantro lemon roasted chicken with fennel pan gravy and Brussels sprouts (ewww!?), and maple walnut tapioca (ewww!?) pearl pudding with apple compote. Come learn to love again in Friendship Heights for $33.

Prejudice, Preconceived Notions, and Foods You May Have Loved to Hate (but Deserve Another Chance)

The Chefs
Meet Cary and Jessica ” Having lived in D.C. 27 years, I’m a frequent explorer of new neighborhoods and ideas. I run SPACIOUS, which is an organization that creates custom events and does consulting to empower people to develop their own gifts and to find deeper connections with others, beyond the usual demographic barriers. Pairing with Feastly chef all-star Jessica O’Neal for our event, we’ll work magic as the SPACIOUS team creates the warm atmosphere and salon, and Jessica rules the kitchen.

The Menu
  • Buttered Anchovy Toasts – These warm, salty, crispy bites are the perfect aperitif and pair particularly well with a bubbly champagne or sparkling wine.
  • Cilantro Lemon Roasted Chicken with Fennel Pan Gravy – Served with Turnip Potato Gratin and Bacon Roasted Brussels Sprouts
  • Maple Walnut Tapioca Pearl Pudding with Apple Compote

Join us by emailing info@eatfeastly.com and we’ll give you special access to our site and the meal.

Feast on!
