On March 10, James and Kashmira welcomed 10 Feasters to their home for a traditional Indian meal. The menu included: Chana Papri Chaat, Kadhai Paneer, Murgh Makhani and Falooda.
Meet the Cooks
James and Kashmira have been experimenting with various international cooking styles together since college. Kashmira learned Indian cooking from her mother while growing up near Mumbai. After living in Egypt for a year, James has developed a passion for Middle Eastern cuisine and communal dining.
Guests arrived to crispy tortilla papri chips tossed with homemade Indian-style chaat yoghurt, boiled vegies, homemade tamarind-date chutney, coriander-mint chutney.
Kashmira talks guests through the main courses: paneer cubes in a spicy mixture of green and red capsicum, tomato puree, yoghurt, fenugreek, and sabzi masala and chicken marinated in homemade spicy yoghurt, cooked in a creamy tomato sauce.
